Yuzuru is a character first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. His full name is Yuzuru Soukokuin (蒼刻院　弓弦, Sōkokuin Yuzuru). He's a calm and collected highly skilled kyūdō practitioner. He's the ace member of the school's kyūdō club, and as such many are drawn to his graceful abilities. Much to his annoyance he's plagued with visitors, especially girls, who break his concentration. Yuzuru carries the blue square lapis and is unlocked in Hiumi's story, The Virtuoso of the Blue Bow (蒼き弓の名手, Aoki Yumi no Meishu)'.

Design

Yuzuru has light blue eyes and long, dark gray hair kept in a high ponytail with a white tie and an arrow. He wears a traditional kyūdō uniform consisting of a purple kimono, navy blue hakama, and white socks. The left side of his kimono hangs off, revealing a white one underneath. He has a brown pad on his right shoulder as well as a brown glove on his right hand. He has a beauty mark below his right eye.

再びこんにちは、ぺぬです。 有り難くもゼルハルトに続き弓弦くんのデザインも担当させていただきました。 次なるお題は「りりしい弓道男子」。それも、汗をかいてもにおわなそうな夢のような男子です。 加えてフィーバーでは流鏑馬やりましょう！流鏑馬！と、盛り込むだけで華やかになりそうな具体的なお題を頂いていたのですが、普通に弓道着なだけじゃ芸がないかしら…と 特徴をつけようとして七転八倒し、偉大な先輩方に数々の助言を頂きながら、 上着を2枚着て左肩を1枚脱ぎ、謎の肩当を装備した弓弦くんが生まれました。 WINアニメで肌脱ぎ（弦が袖に引っかからないように左肩を脱いで打つこと）をさせたかったのですが 2枚着てるということはあらかじめ1枚脱いでおかないと変な感じになるけど、和服の合わせは右前で…アレ？？ みたいな感じで左右が大いに混乱したのもいい思い出です。 持ち前のりりしさで女の子にモテモテな弓弦くんですが、 ストイックな恥ずかしがり屋でもあるので、騒がれているうちに 女の子と話すのが苦手になってしまったようです。 デザイン当時の脳内設定メモを見た所 「モテるけど重度の人見知り気味なので彼女はできない」 「ストイックすぎるので男からも絡みづらいと思われている」 「愛馬の一矢（いっし）が唯一の友達」 とか酷いことが書いてあるんですがｗ ストーリーではみんなに絡んでもらえたみたいで本当によかったね！と 親心全開で見守っております。六の勝ちアニメにも出してもらえてよかったね！ 感情を表に出すのが下手な弓弦くんなので、素直に嬉しそうな勝ち姿を見ると こちらまで嬉しくなってしまいます。 なお彼のフルネームは 「蒼刻院　弓弦(そうこくいん　ゆづる）」といいます。仰々しくて呼びづらい苗字なので、 本人の絡みづらさとは裏腹に下の名前で呼ばれることが多いんだと思います。 曲の方も見た目より激しい弓弦くんの内面が窺い知れる素敵なものをつけて頂きました！ ありがとうございます！！ 皆さんも弓弦くんと仲良くしてあげてくださいね。 ＜ぺぬ＞
