Weiß is a character first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. He's the school doctor said to have a dark past that he deeply resents, having been involved in the project that created Black. He's reformed himself however, and now serves as an ally to Black. Weiß carries the white tear lapis and is unlocked in Fuga's story, The Identity of the Insurance Doctor...? (保険医の正体・・・？, Hokeni no Shōtai?).

Design

Weiß has orange eyes and gray hair tied back into a low ponytail. He wears a black and gray jumpsuit with a white cross section in the front beneath a white doctor's coat, black shoes, fingerless gloves, and a white headband with matching headphones. In some of his animations he's seen with a vaccine gun, and in his Fever animation it's shown that his left leg is a metal prosthetic.

pop'n music ラピストリア

めっちゃ声がカッコイイので男性ボーカルさんかと思っていました…生歌を聞いてみたい！ お伝えした少ないキャライメージから、歌詞へ、曲へどんどん広げてくださって、聞くと物語や景色が広がります！クリエイティブというものをダイレクトに感じられました、ほんと凄いです。 当初「謎の黒服の男」という超あいまいな設定しかついていなかったのですが、 以前からやってみたかった「ワクチン銃を打ちまくる医師」というアイデアをピックアップしまして、世界観にあわせてリデザインを施しヴァイスさんの誕生となりました！ ヴァイスさんは現在とある組織に所属していますが、かつては凄腕の医師であったもののここでは言えないようなそれはそれはブラックなプロジェクトに加担しており、いろいろあって足を洗ったもののその過去が彼に今も影を落としています。罪の重さに自分をずっと許せないのではないかと思います。 ストーリーでは色々な表情を見せてくれますので、↑の設定ほど重くなく楽しんで頂けるかと思います。 とはいえ私はアイデアとアクションを決めただけで、 アニメーションはイイ男作画に定評のあるmayoさんにお願いしました。 …フフフ、みなさん！思ったとおりですよ！ ＜ちっひ＞ ヴァイスさん、担当させて頂きました～！ 過去に何があったのか、彼の目的は何なのか、 謎に満ちた白衣の男性です。 ううむ、シリアスな設定です！ お医者さんぽくもあり、戦士のようでもあり…。 お医者さんか。頭脳派で運動も出来るって、もう最強だね！？と色々妄想しつつ、描いてました。 余談ですが、開発中、手に持った銃は、ワクチン銃と呼ばれてました。 なんだろう、なんだろう。気になるよ～！fevアニメの光景とかも。 でも頼りになるお兄さんである事は間違いなさそうです！ どこか寂しげなような、優しげなような…？？興味をそそられるキャラクターです。 今作は、特に出演キャラ同士のアニメに、別のキャラが登場する事が多いので （私には）思いもかけなかったキャラのアニメに、ヴァイスさんが登場し、別の一面が見れたりと 楽しく作らせて頂きました。 どうぞ皆さんに、プレーしつつ、色々発見して、楽しんで頂けますように！ ＜mayo＞

• Weiß was shown to be the character for 戦場のアップデート in an early banner with a different portrait. He was later replaced by Elenoa.
