WaterMelonWoman / NAKATEK [1]
When I first created this song, I had a hard time classifying it into a genre. That's because I felt like this couldn't be summarized as "techno" in one word. Perhaps it's because I was part of the generation that experienced the dawn of techno as it was happening within the late 70s to early 80s. This song has a catchy A-melody featuring a nostalgic vocoder sound between the sounds of an aggressive analog synth with filter crunch tones along with a flowy B-melody, followed by an oriental-styled chorus. In the actual game, the spatial stereo effects applied to each of the sound effects create a pleasant sound field, allowing you to feel the artist's attention to detail.
