Toa is a character first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. He's the younger twin brother of Nia. Unlike his sister, Toa is very energetic and almost always in a good mood. He's a talented stylist who's very supportive of Nia, designing clothes for both himself and her. Toa carries the green tear lapis, and he's unlocked in Retsu's story, A Disguised Strategy (変装大作戦, Hensō Dai Sakusen).

Design

Toa has medium gray hair and teal eyes. He wears a small gray top with a large black tie and matching arm warmers. His shorts are white with black suspenders and are worn with cyan and white boots over gray stockings.

pop'n music ラピストリア

タお待たせしました。ひとつになりたい皆様に贈る、ニアちゃんの双子の弟にして敏腕スタイリストのトアくんです！ ずいぶん前から服飾系のキャラクターアニメをやりたいと思っていまして、 ポップンで服飾といえばリエちゃんですがそれに続くならぜひアニメでお裁縫を表現したいなというのがあったのですが、裁縫のみだとアニメで面白みを伝えるのが難しくて、アイデア止まりでなかなか叶いませんでした。 そこにサニーパークのニアちゃんがなぜアイドルをやっているのかはっきりしていなかった部分をMIXして、トアくんの誕生となりました！ 2014年2月、JAEPOでのOPムービー先行公開でラピストリア新キャラクターとしては一番乗りでお披露目となりましたので登場は早い段階で確定していたのですが、キャラクターの性格など細かいところはキャラアニメ公開ぎりぎりまで練りました。 特に名前はなかなか決まらず本当に悩んで、双子なのでキャラクターセレクトで並びで出してあげたいねという話になってようやくまとまりました。 生まれてからずっと一緒、お互いの良い所を一番知っていて、大好きなお姉ちゃんにもっと輝いてほしいなと願っている弟のトアくん。 得意の服飾スキルを活かしてお姉ちゃんのアイドル活動を全面的にサポートしています。 ニアちゃんがもうだめってなった時は替え玉ステージもこなしてくれそうで安心です。 せっかく別々にアニメを持って登場できるということで、見た目はそっくりなのに性格も性別も反対に振りきって、2人を足して割ったらちょうど良くなる感じにしています。 ニアちゃんとの違いは眉毛の角度だけなので、アニメーションの方で違いを出したいな～と、めいっぱいハチャメチャさせてもらいました。 楽曲はテンポも曲調もとっても元気でちょっと可愛らしさがあって、こちらもニアちゃんとは全く違う方面へ進んでいただけたので、単品でもセットでも楽しめる大変お得感のある双子ちゃんになりました。 どうぞたくさん可愛がってあげてください！ ＜ちっひ＞
