Rars is a character first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. He is usually accompanied by Poulpe, a small pink alien that sits atop his head, and can sometimes be seen with other similar aliens. Rars carries the pink square lapis.

Design

Rars has pink eyes, pointed ears, and dark pink short and messy hair, though his real hair is usually kept hidden by Poulpe. He wears a modified version of the blue and gray Lapistoria uniform, resembling a long coat with black pants, a large collar that hangs off his shoulders, a black choker with a tie, and white boots. He carries a microphone resembling a rocket with a red laser.

	マイルームでくつろぐ時間も衣装(？)のお手入れは欠かさないんだって。 今度のツアーのイメージもどんどん膨らんでいるみたい！	I never skip out on tending to my costumes(?) when it's time to relax in my room. The image of my next tour seems to be expanding fast!

pop'n music ラピストリア

地上だと人気無いんじゃ…なんて野暮なことは言わない約束です。飛行機にのればいいじゃない！ ラーズさんはPONさんから「ラピストリアにはちょっと変わったヴィジュアル系の宇宙人学生が必要だ」とのリクエストにより生まれました。 宇宙人なのであの制服（なんです）の着こなしも普通のつもりなんだそうです。 うまく溶け込んでいるなって、思っているんだそうですよ。 当初の予定ですともっとおかしさを前面に出しているキャラクターで、頭のアレも自身の意思でたまにピューってどっかに飛んで行っちゃう。みたいなアクションを想定していたのですが、 楽曲が出来て聴いてみると… 「キャラクターが飛ばしすぎだ！一旦戻れ～！！」 となりまして、現在の形に落ち着きました。 基本はキャラに曲をつけてもらうスタンスで～なんて言ってますけど、気配りと柔軟な対応は成層圏でも必要でした。 お名前と、ダンスや負けアクションに当初の名残を感じて頂けるかと思います。 頭の色は黄緑とピンクで最後まで迷いに迷って、色かぶりの少ないほうにかじを切ったつもりでしたが、そのあとでピンクちゃん達が予想以上に増えました。 ＜ちっひ＞

Trivia

• In-game, Rars' birthdate is displayed as The day the stars overlap (星々の重なる日)
• LuLu, Kelly, Sergei, Walker, Pal, and Aspara Seijin appear in Rars's Fever Win animation.
• Poulpe was finally given a name in an April Fool's keychain set which was later released, along with Takuto's spirit Schall.
• As noted by ちっひ, Rars was originally going to have a lime green color scheme, but she eventually settled for pink. The green was later used as his 2P palette.
• Rars received his own emote on the official Pop'n Team's Twitter, which was /<・へ・」> .
