Jade is a character first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. He is the chairman of the Lapistoria school and one of the antagonists. Corrupted by the power of the lapis, he seeks to become the god of a new world he hopes to create and brainwashes Nia and Toa in the process. His plans are cut short however, and he's brought back to his senses by Retsu, Rinka, Fuga, and Hiumi. He's unlocked in his own story with Retsu, Decisive Battle (決戦, Kessen).

In pop'n music ラピストリア, he carries the black heart lapis.

Design

Jade is a young boy with light red eyes and short, silvery hair encrusted with gems. His attire consists of a gray vest with a white long sleeved shirt and light gray shorts and shoes with white socks. Over his top he wears a white cape-like garment with a blue tie and gray ribbons.

	くすす…かなり神様っぽくなってきたでしょ？ 今度は見た目から神様化を狙っているようだけど、 後ろのアレを調達するのはちょっと難しかったみたいだね！	Hehe...I've become quite god-like haven't I? He seems to be aiming for a god by appearance, but looks like getting the back right was a little difficult!

くすすでおなじみの神様になりたい理事長ジェイドくんです、みなさんこんにちは。 さすがのぜろじばさんだけありまして、全然曲がこなくて、びっくりするくらいまっさらな土地を歩いて先にゴールしちゃった感じでした。 ニアちゃんトアくんを支配下において、ブラックくんと対になって、校長先生の遺伝子を受けて、烈くん暴走の引き金となり、神様になりたかったジェイドくん。けっこう難しい立ち位置なのですが、こども理事長というキーワードですんなりデザインが決まりました。 ラピスに侵食され、融合し、ギリギリで人型を保っているイメージで、頭の飾りみたいなひし形は体内のラピスがはみだしちゃっています。簡単にまとめますと、イオロアで「いいなコレ！」と思って勝手にもらったということになります。 ニュートラルのくすすアニメは、狂気よりやや愛らしい、でもただの笑顔じゃないぞっていう絶妙な感じをめざしました。くすすの縦ゆれと音楽にのった横ゆれのミックスは自分でやってみるとわかるんですが非常に難しいです。 ミスアニメのラピス侵食による3段階の変形はこの子の芯になりそうだったので、最初からすごくやりたいな～と思っていたのですが、ポップンアニメの1アクションはそれぞれけっこう短いので、ちゃんと表現しきれるかどうか…ちょっと無理に詰め込んでしまったんですが、やって良かったなと今見て思います！ 黒赤2Pカラーは少し悪さが増しているので、悪い子好きな皆様にはおすすめです。 ジェイドくんはストーリーで色々あったようですが、それでもやっぱり神様になりたいその時は、またチャレンジしてみるのもいいと思いますよ！ ＜ちっひ＞

• Jade first appeared in Retsu, Fuga, and Weiß's story, The Detective Girl (探偵女子, Tantei Joshi) which was available March 19th, two months before his actual debut. His name wasn't revealed at the time however.
• Jade shares his birthday with Peetan.
• Nia and Toa appear in Jade's Win, Lose, Fever, Dance, and Fever Win animations, Jadeite appears in his Good and Lose animations, and Retsu, Fuga, Hiumi, and Rinka appear in his Win animation.
