Io-Lower are characters first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. They're described as "angels of the galaxy". Io is described as being a power type who prefers to use his own strength, while Lower is more intelligent and shown to have more defensive powers. They seem to believe that one of them would be enough to complete their missions, but must work together regardless.

In pop'n music ラピストリア, they carry the white square lapis.

Design

Io

Io has gray skin, long ears, messy blond hair, and green eyes. He wears a black scarf with a black top, gray vest, and white fingerless gloves. His pants are mostly white with light blue and red sections and a red chain, and his shoes are red and white. His angel wing is gold.

Lower

Lower has similarly gray skin and long ears, though he instead has long brown hair tied into a low ponytail and deep red eyes, obscured by sunglasses. He wears a purple and black open jacket with matching fingerless gloves and a red tie. His pants are also purple with black boots. His angel wing is magenta.

pop'n music ラピストリア

イオ・ロアです！使命を授かって戦うお二人です。 ちなみに名前はイオ・ロアなのですが 黄色いほうがイオでちょっとムキムキパワー型、 サングラスの方がロアでインテリ型です。 久しぶりにアニメを担当させていただいて、そしてキャラクターも人型だったので苦戦していたのですが、デザインはmayoさん原案のかっこいいお二人をいただいてきました。 人間じゃない感じがあってカッコイイですよね、ご覧の通りイオの方が若干ムキムキなので腕とか足とか描くのが楽しかったです＾＾ 逆にロアさんはインテリ系なのでちょっとヒョロ長で、戦ったりするのも直接殴らずに何か壁みたいなのを能力で出して～という形にさせていただきました。 2人の差に注目してみてください～！ そんな感じで全く正反対な2人で普通ならあんまり合わなさそうなんですが、銀河の天使らしくてですね。 任務の時はお互い上手くカバーしてやっているみたいです。多分イオさん一人だったとしたら全部殴って解決するんじゃないでしょうか。かと言ってロアさんだけだとパワー不足ですしね。 上手く静と動の二人でバランスよさそうな気がします。 というかそもそも羽根がかたっぽずつしか無いので多分まだ1人だと半人前なんでしょうね。 にしても上のコメントのノリだったら漫才をするイオとロアでも良かったなーと思いました。イオとロアの生み出す笑いで星が滅ぶみたいな感じで、平和！ でもそんなハードル高過ぎる振りされたら星屑になるしか無いですね…。 ＜とっきー＞
