Hiumi is a character first appearing in pop'n music Sunny Park. She's the student council president with the power to control ice and is fond of Pastel-kun, the mascot of the REFLEC BEAT series. She can usually seen with Retsu, Fuga, and Rinka and has an admirer in Miyu. In pop'n music ラピストリア, Hiumi carries the blue tear lapis.

In her pop'n music Sunny Park appearance Hiumi has long pale blue hair with a white headband and blue eyes. She wears a gray dress coat with white fur around the neck and sleeves, white buttons, and a blue patch with a Pastel-kun icon. Underneath her tights are light gray with white boots.
Her pop'n music ラピストリア design gives her an all white collared dress with a blue belt and white, blue, and gray heels. Her hair is styled up in a long ponytail with her two front bangs remaining down and she has a dark blue headband instead.
In her appearance with Rinka in pop'n music peace she wears a white top with a blue neckerchief, a long white pleated skirt with blue trim, white gloves, and heeled boots. Her hair is kept lower ponytail now. xz

| ホントにつぎにドカンときちゃいましたね～。すごいです。
サニパはBEMANI機種対抗のお祭りだったので4人はライバル関係でしたが、ラピストリアだとすっかり仲よしになって協力して新たな謎に立ち向かう！なんて成長ぶりになかなかぐっときます。 というわけで夏服で再登場！というお題をいただきまして。 氷海さんの制服はお嬢様学校のイメージだったので、夏も冬もレトロワンピースです。 きゅっと立てた襟にふんわり袖、肩はかっちりとして箱型プリーツスカート。いい生地で仕立て屋さんが採寸してセミオーダーメイド！とか。憧れです。 今作から大きいイラストも描いてもらえるので、前はひとりでこっそり楽しんでいた布の質感とか細かすぎて分からない自己満足設定も全て陽の目にさらされてしまうのでどきどきですね…。 そんなマニアックポイントですが、おみ足は鉄壁ガードの透けない60デニールタイツです。 夏だからどうしようか迷いましたが、たぶん周りの空気をうっすら凍らせて氷海さんはいつでも涼やかなはず。 アニメのほうは、前作では敵だったし人に心を開かない(ただしパステルくん以外)クールキャラのイメージでしたが、今回は慣れなくてちょっと戸惑いつつも心の扉を開けて氷が解けていく様子を出したいなぁとおもいました。 これからなにやら新しい仲間も増えていくみたいで楽しみです。ストーリー展開に乞うご期待ですね。 ひうみん、よかったね、これでひとり裏山で歌いながら氷のお城に引きこもったりしなくていいんだよ。 ＜shio＞

| ポップンチームスタッフの前ではＰＯＮくんを応援している私ですが
ここでは間違いなく、パステルく・・・いや、クリスピーさん押しです！！！ 先に烈くんが完成していたのと、リフレク～winterに収録されるのもあってすんなりと氷属性が決定しました。 その後「能力バトルしそうなキャラ・・・」で悩んで変な方向に迷走してしまい さっき見直したら濃すぎて死にました。(白い学ランの男装女子とか・・うおおい) もいちど曲を聞いて冷静さを取り戻し、クールな生徒会長になれてよかった。 曲の力です。クリスピーさんありがとうございます。 あとスノーウィーな曲なので、軽やかで明るくかわいらしい要素がチラチラしていてその辺も表現したいなぁとこれも悩んだのですが、パステルくんがアニメに応援に来てくれて氷海さんも笑顔を見せてくれて、冷たいだけじゃないあったかい感じが出せてちょうどよかったです。 リフレクではtef*tefさん作のほんわか氷海さん&パステルくんジャケが見れますのでこちらもよろしくどうぞ～。 あっでもここはポップン推しでいかないと！ それでは今からＰＯＮ押しにもどります。魂を解き放て～ ♪ shio

- Hiumi shares her birthday with ?.
- Hiumi's name is Japanese for "frozen sea", and the first kanji of her name means "ice", relating to her element.
- Hiumi received her own emote on the official Pop'n Team's Twitter, which was ノﾘσ_σλ.[5]
- Hiumi received a 3P palette in pop'n music Sunny Park, only available by inputting the lucky code found on the back of the pop'n music Sunny park original soundtrack vol.2 album.
- As of pop'n music éclale her 3P is available by default.
- While she doesn't have her own character slot, Hiumi appears with Rinka in pop'n music peace with a new outfit and new select/Chara-Pop icons.
- Unused data seems to imply Hiumi was originally going to fully share an appearance with Rinka, with name banners titled "hiumirinka_25a" and "hiumirinka_25b" that included both of their names and similarly named artwork.
