Freshman is a character first appearing in pop'n music 20 fantasia. He's an alter ego of Otoko-Man.

Freshman wears a lime green and yellow mask with a pink star on the forehead. He wears bright pink socks, a lime green tight shirt with a tie and lapel design on it, and matching shorts with a large belt.

| どこかの誰かに似ているかもしれませんが、
はじめましてっ！ フレッシュマンです！ (90度のお辞儀＋名刺交換の姿勢) 毎回毎回すわさんの歌詞には、慣れることなく初めてのピュアな気持ちで 「・・すごいセンスだ・・・！」と感動します。 とても朝が弱い私は寝起きのよい人になりたい・・・と生まれ変わる気持ちでアニメ作りました。朝からあのテンション。人生楽しそうです。 フレッシュでレモンというのはあまりにノットフレッシュな使い古された表現だ、という声も聞こえますが、私は今朝生まれ変わって新たな人間になったので何事も世界初の表現です。 いいね、フレッシュ！サイコー。＼(^o^)／ 今回がTAKAさんとの初合作なのもとても意外でした。 20はPONくんディレクションによる新しい組み合わせが多くていいですね。フレッシュ～。 shio

- Freshman shares his birthday with Otoko-Man.
- Freshman's birthday was first revealed on his card as "☆月☆日". However, once birthdays were added in pop'n music Sunny Park as a game mechanic, his birthday appeared as "♂月♂日". This is due to him sharing his character slot with Otoko-Man.
- Freshman also shares his NET Taisen lines with Otoko-Man because of this.
- Midori appears in Freshman's Miss animation, and Yoshio appears in his Win animation.
