Black is a character first appearing in pop'n music Sunny Park. Black is a boy who was created and modified in a secret research facility for the sole purpose of battle. He has frequently appeared with Weiß. In pop'n music ラピストリア Black carries the black tear shaped lapis 
and he's unlocked in Fuga's story, Second Suspect (第2の容疑者 Dai 2 no Yōgisha).
Design[edit | edit source]
Black has orange eyes and two-toned hair, with one side colored white and the other side colored dark gray. He has orange earrings and a bandage covers half of his forehead. He wears a black cloak with a large collar and white design over dark gray pants and a shirt, white gloves, and black boots. He carries two orange swords that appear to be made of light. His outfit remains mostly the same in pop'n music ラピストリア, aside from tighter fitting gray pants and longer hair.

| サニーパークから革命継続中のブラックくんです。
ポップンではめずらしく？前回登場から少し時間が経った設定にしてみました。 良く見てください！ほんの少し髪の毛が…伸びています（笑 革命に明け暮れているので切っている暇は無さそうだということで… スミコさんとかモモコさんくらい大きくやらないとわからないですよね！ 服の色合いも大きく変えちゃおうかと思ったのですが、名前に色が入っていると変えづらいですよね！ ということで今回はラピストリアの新要素「ストーリー」に沿った内容でお送りしています。 ストーリーのライターさんの動向にいつもドキドキです！ 極秘施設の試験管で生まれ、戦うことのみを目的として育てられたブラック。 施設の爆破事故に紛れ関係者数名が消えたと言われています。 爆破には施設従事者も関係しているとかいないとか・・・ 数年後、とある瓦礫の街から革命の波紋が広がります。 なんだかデジャヴ！前おんなじ事を書いたような！？ ブラックくんの革命は、小さな波紋がやがて大きなうねりとなって…のうねり時期にさしかかってきていますので、ミスアクションを筆頭に全体のハードさをマシマシで、「ちょ…大丈夫？！」ってプレー中に2度見しちゃいそうな仕上がりとなりました。 ひとりきりの革命のはずが周囲の大人たちの見守り感が半端ない感じになってまいりましたね。 一人で生きてると思っていても実際はそうじゃないんだよっていう後付けメッセージをそっと添えておきたいと思います。 ＜ちっひ＞

| 先に歌詞をいただけたのですが、メッセージが沢山詰まっていて、まるで小説を読んでいる気持ちになりました。
カルマを抱えた私もとりあえず波に乗るのが大好きなので、革命だ！反旗をひるがえせ～！！うおお～！！！と激しくアイデア出しをしまして、 囚われし者を救い出す未来医師や、「目を覚ませ！」とワクチン銃を撃ちまくるDr.スナイパーや、無菌室育ちで常に音楽を大音量で聴いていないと壊れてしまうぼうやなど沢山の反骨精神あふれるアイデアが生まれました。 その中で最終的にBLACKくんになったのは、歌詞の中の「僕」、そしてこの世界に対する芽生えたての疑問です。 矛盾に気づき、情熱を持って行動に移すというパワーの中に若さを感じました。 無菌室で生まれ、ただ生きる日々に生まれたちいさな感情と残酷な別れ… こんな小さな男の子に背負わせるにはあまりにつらい現実。 しかし始まりの小さな波紋はいつしか大きなうねりとなって、時代を巻き込む革命へと繋がっていくのでしょう。 この革命の先にBLACKくんが心から笑える日が来ることを願うばかりです！ 2Pカラーのブルーもお気に入りです。 ちっひ
