| 度胸尊（どきょうのみこと）とは、現代神話に登場する、二体一対の神である。
度が過ぎるほどに物事に動じず、何物も恐れない心を胸にして、時に粗暴な行いをして厄災を招くことから長らく悪神とみなされてきたが、後に「度胸」の化身として畏敬され、全国各地で祀られるようになると善神に転じた。 煩悩を焼き尽くす炎の神が赤度胸尊（あかどきょうのみこと）と、凍て付かせる氷の神が青度胸尊（あおどきょうのみこと）であるが、一般には「どきょうのきょうだい」の名で親しまれている。 祭祀において行われる踊りは、「度胸歩法」という大胆不敵なる精神を養う修法が元になっており、独特な振りで有名。 ＜VJ GYO＞
