Taiga is a character first appearing in pop'n music ラピストリア. He is Rinka's older brother and is shown to be extremely protective of her. Though he appears intimidating, he's actually rather friendly and loves cute things. Similar to Rinka's power over nature, Taiga is able to control the power of earth. Taiga carries the yellow square lapis and is unlocked in Rinka's story, A Shadow Chasing Rinka (鈴花を追う影, Rinka wo Ou Kage).

Design

Taiga is a tall man with blue eyes and messy blond hair, tied back into a short braid. He wears a black coat with red and gray markings over a white shirt, and matching black pants with a red belt, red bands at the ends, and gray socks with black shoes. His belt is decorated with a gold flower pin with two long tassels.

鈴花ちゃんの兄の登場です！シスコンです。 今でこそシスコンぶっ飛んでるお兄さんになりましたが アイデアの出し初めは今の状態のかけらもなく真面目に頭でっかちで賢そうな感じのアイデアも出していました。 （きびしく妹を導いていく～みたいな感じで） でもあれよあれよとコワモテキャラに。 普段は怖い見た目ですが、ストーリーを進めてくださってる方は御存知の通り妹大好き＆可愛い物大好きなお兄さんです。 アニメも鈴花に近づくやつはゆるさーん！！！って感じで作っていただいて大満足です。ありがとうございます！ 鈴花ちゃんに近づきたければまずお兄さんを何とかしないとですね。 大牙の過保護がいつまで続くのか、妹離れできるのか心配です。 いつまでも鈴花ちゃんの近くに男の子が現れるたびに地面を割るわけにはいかないですから。 でも私も「もーお兄ちゃんいい加減にしてよっっ！」て鈴花ちゃんに言われたいです。 — とっきー こんにちは、ぺぬです。鶏肉を食べていたらポップンアニメを作る話が来たので、 鶏肉を箸で掴んだままお受けすることになりました。 これが初めてのアニメ作成でした。先輩方にアニメは大変だよ！と 散々脅かされていたので覚悟を決めて挑んだのですが、本当に大変でした。 アニメって奥が深い！！これを毎度やってるポップンチームの皆さん本当にすごいです！ 普通にしてれば怖いお兄さんなのに可愛いものと妹が大好きということで、 非常に表情の振れ幅が大きくて楽しかったです。 コワモテお兄さんのギャップ百面相をお楽しみください。FEVERあたりが特にオススメです。 GREATで後ろを向いた瞬間の背中もお見逃しなく！ 最初の案ではFEVER WINで目が覚める展開もあったのですが、 「可哀想だから寝かせたままにしよう…」という話になり、幸せそうに寝たままになりました。 どちらが兄さんにとって幸せだったのか今でも悩ましい所です。 あれ？そもそも夢だからどっちにしろ幸せじゃない？？あれっ…？ 大牙兄さんには幸せになってほしいなあと心から思っています（目線逸らし）。 ＜ぺぬ＞
